The site
This site is run by Mistakes Were Made Games, a one-person studio in Denver, Colorado. It promotes our games, including Horsin' Around and Nine Circles, which are in development. Content, features, art and release plans can change at any time.
Signups and playtests
- Signing up adds you to our list for playtest invitations and updates. It does not guarantee access to any build.
- Playtest builds are unfinished and may crash, lose data or change without notice. They are provided as is, and access can be ended at any time.
- Playtest builds and their contents are confidential unless we say otherwise. Please do not share builds or leak unannounced content.
Intellectual property
The games, art, music, code, logos, names and site content belong to Mistakes Were Made Games or its licensors. You may share screenshots and videos of public material for non-commercial and fan content. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer our work.
Community conduct
On our Discord and other community spaces, be decent. No harassment, hate, spam, cheating, or sharing of illegal or leaked content. We may remove content or members at our discretion.
Third-party services
We link to services we do not control, such as Discord, Steam, YouTube, X and TikTok. Their terms and policies apply when you use them.
No warranty and limits of liability
The site and any builds are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mistakes Were Made Games is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any build.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
